We can ONLY consider your application if you have:

1: 5+ years' experience in Marketing Analytics and Targeted/Database marketing
2: 5+ years' experience in SQL, Base SAS. SAS/Stats a plus
3: 2+ years of Tableau experience
4: Bachelor degree in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics)
5: Excellent communications skills. Experience summarizing reports and insights for a business audience.
6: Strong analytic skills with working knowledge of data manipulation and statistical analysis techniques.
7: Experience with audience selection, data extraction and manipulation from databases using SQL

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst, responsible for defining measurements, capturing data, analyzing the data, selecting audiences for campaigns, and providing insights to the Marketing team to optimization, performance, and marketing campaign tactics. 


The successful candidate should have strong experience in measuring multi-channel marketing campaign effectiveness and their impact on business performance (attribution, marketing mix optimization, modeling, marketing ROI, etc.) as well as in designing campaigns to maximize effectiveness (targeting) and promoting business learnings (test and learn framework). Such experience in a B2B setting with a long sales cycle - heavy reliance on “offline” relationships, events and human interaction is a strong plus. 

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS:
:: Master's degree
:: Working knowledge of marketing automation systems (preferably Marketo) and web analytics (preferably Google Analytics)
:: Working knowledge of CRM (preferably MS Dynamics) and BI (preferably Tableau) tools
:: Experience with test and learn framework - A/B and multivariate testing
:: Experience with complex data environments and EDWs, preferably in Financial Services
:: Experience in advanced analytic tools (SAS, SPSS)
:: Possess strong project and time management skills, with attention to detail.
:: Abilities to easily move between different levels of analysis--from highly detailed to the big picture.

Duties and Responsibilities
== Design and build of Marketing Reports / Dashboards (Tableau)
== Marketing Analytics and communications of findings to business audiences
== Develop a program to track campaign effectiveness - including recommending analysis, testing framework, processes and KPIs to be tracked
== Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators across channels (primarily email, events, and web) and provide actionable insight based on the findings.
== Utilize data from existing platforms (Marketo, Google Analytics, Client Data Base) as well as Business Intelligence tools to answer business questions and report findings to key decision makers.
== Provide insights and recommendations for improving marketing campaigns
== Manage ad hoc analysis for the Marketing team
== Complex data environment experience (ideally similar to SVB) and data manipulation experience (SQL)
== Perform audience selection / campaign list pull
== Maintain and Develop Survey List Pull in SAS
